Lantern's Edge About Us Plant Nursery Vedder Invasives Garden Services

About us

We know this land has been home to many people, plants and animals before us. Our work takes place
on the unceded traditional territory of the Ts’elxwéyeqw tribe of the Stó:lō people. We work to
protect the ecological bounty this land holds for future generations.

Lantern's Edge is our home and property on the Vedder River in Chilliwack. We don't own it
but we treat it like it's ours, fixing it up over time and restoring the gardens. With forest on
one side and the river on the other, we are lucky to live surrounded by nature, with eagles,
hummingbirds, deer, snakes, bobcats and the occasional black bear passing through. Using this as
inspiration, we grow native plants and other perennials in our small backyard nursery, and help
restore the adjacent forest by controlling invasive species, replanting with native plants, and
picking up garbage.
